Claritas Capital is a Nashville-based alternative asset manager focused on partnering with entrepreneurs, business owners, and developers to analyze and invest in interesting & innovative investment opportunities for our investors. Founded in 2002, we have more than 20 years of investment experience working with strategic partners across private equity, private credit and real estate markets.
Private Equity: Claritas Capital’s private equity platform is an alternative investment program for Family Offices, Strategic, and Institutional investors. The firm invests equity capital from general and dedicated investment funds into teams focused on expansion and growth. Claritas embraces an influential, non-controlling, lead-minority, and collaborative approach to investing. The firm’s investment history represents deep roots in healthcare investing and also includes tech-enabled services, communications, fintech and business services. Claritas is an ideal partner for lower middle market healthcare, technology, and services companies seeking to raise less than $10M from experienced lead investors to support continued growth.
Private Credit: We partner with business owners as they navigate financing needs during transitions periods and/or growth initiatives. We specialize in providing alternative credit facility structures (debt and/or hybrid equity) to lower middle market companies. Our typical investment is in the $2 to $5 million range and is generally the most senior credit and/or equity outside capital invested in the company.
Real Estate: We partner with Southeast developers across all asset classes of real estate including: commercial, industrial, residential, land development and multi-family through either a debt or equity structure. Two Key Strategies: (1) Deal-by-Deal opportunities in the Southeast where we know the market and have established key development relationships; (2) Financing for developers with national build-to-suit opportunities
