Agri Info Design's app, AgriBus-NAVI, is a simple GPS guidance system designed to mount on agricultural machinery, such as tractors, that allows farmers to create straight and evenly spaced lines in large land plots. Farmers who operate such large machinery often face the challenge of navigating efficiently in wide fields, which leads them to use excessive fertilizer and pesticides, as well as to waste good seed. Ultimately, inefficient navigation can be detrimental to farmers' livelihoods by negatively impacting crop quality and yields. Through this technology, which can be accessed by mobile phone or on a tablet, Agri Info Design is laying the groundwork for "Cloud Farming" and enhanced agricultural productivity. Since its launch in February 2015, the app has been downloaded 63,000 times in as many as 30 countries.
