Captoplastic is a Spanish start-up that produces a technology in which microplastics could be quantified and separated from water in real environments through a simple and scalable technology that achieves retention levels close to 100%. The company was formed on June 15th, 2020, as a start-up recognized as a Knowledge-Based Company. Captoplastic S.L has obtained financing for its project CaptH20PlasticDemo - S-2020/L1- through the co-financed aid of the European Regional Development Fund for the development of young innovative technology-based companies (Start-ups) and high innovative intensity SMEs, within the framework of the regional strategy.
