I•ROX est une start-up dans l'industrie minière qui vise à fournir un nouveau procédé de broyage plus efficace pour extraire les minéraux précieux des minerais. Avec une demande toujours croissante de métaux comme le cuivre, la consommation d'électricité dédiée au broyage représente déjà 4% de l'électricité produite dans le monde. Nous visons à réduire ce montant de manière significative, contribuant ainsi à l'effort mondial de réduction des émissions de gaz à effet de serre. Avec nos futurs systèmes industriels déployés à l'échelle mondiale, nos estimations montrent un potentiel de réduction des émissions en équivalent CO2 d'au moins 500 millions de tonnes par an d'ici 2050. La société est actuellement située dans les locaux d’I-Cube Research, une entreprise toulousaine de 100 personnes appartenant au groupe I-Pulse (https://www.ipulse-group.com/) qui développe des applications industrielles de Hautes Puissances Pulsées (HPP). I-Pulse est leader mondial du domaine, s’appuyant sur des développements scientifiques et techniques de grande envergure afin de mettre au point ces technologies de rupture.
