Marvelous Foods is a China-based company aiming to sustainably nourish the world's fastest-growing consumer market with delicious and innovative plant-powered superfoods. It is dedicated to creating attractive modern plant-based products and brands, targeted at Chinese flavor preferences and consumption habits, that consumers will happily choose over traditionally animal-based products for superior taste, nutrition and environmental impact.
The company first emerged as an answer to health issues the Founder developed upon moving to China. In a country where 80% of the population experiences lactose intolerance, she was surprised to find little to no alternative food options (in particular absolutely no plant-based yogurt!). Raised in New Zealand to Chinese parents, she was passionate about plant-based nutrition as a tool for healing, so she created China’s first dairy-free coconut yogurt brand, Yeyo.
Marvelous foods is currently building China’s first production line for diary-free coconut yogurt, and seeking investment to bring on other product lines, including dairy-alternative products and plant-based protein products.
