WOT displays website reputations as traffic lights next to links when you use search engines, social networking sites, email and popular sites such as Wikipedia. By clicking the traffic light icon you can learn more about a website’s reputation and other users’ opinions. A green traffic light means users have rated the site as trusted and reliable, red warns of potential threats and yellow indicates that you should proceed with caution.
WOT ratings and reviews are powered by a global community of millions of users who rate websites based on their personal experiences, and are verified by trusted technical sources. Additionally, third-party sources warn you of malware and other threats you might encounter.
