Pegasus Aeronautics develops lightweight hybrid powertrains for heavy lift industrial UAVs. They allow for operators to significantly improve multi-rotor flight times and payload capabilities. Our goal is to improve the usability of industrial drones by designing a cost effective and reliable alternative power source to conventional lithium-polymer batteries.
Our technology intends to bridge the gap between the limited capabilities of low-cost drones and those of high-cost manned aircraft. By providing a powertrain designed for multi-rotor platforms, our customers can finally achieve the flight times they require without the need to purchase entirely new UAVs.

| 04.05.2016 | A Canadian Startup Wants to Replace Drone Batteries With a Gas Engine | Drones would be amazing if they weren't so terrible. That is, they're great at putting cameras and sensors in the sky, but they're awful at keeping them there. The flight-time for high-end consumer drones generally tops out at 25 minutes, a... |
