Answering the $500 Billion Question
It’s no secret that there’s a crisis of engagement in the workforce. Gallup estimates that only 13% of frontline employees feel invested in their jobs, leaving nearly nine tenths of the world’s management with unenthusiastic workers, low productivity and a turnover rate approaching 100% per annum. In other words, a $500 billion dilemma: how do we encourage our men and women on the ground to buy in to our mission?
The Transparency Schism
Revolutions in customer feedback technology have enabled companies to pinpoint where and why performance is lacking. At the highest rungs of the corporate ladder, survey data is pored over and strategies are concocted — only to be caught up in the management pipeline before ever reaching workers on the sales floor where customers are won and lost.
Communication and Kudos
The problem is transparency. The upper echelons of companies — the c-suite, vice presidents, regional managers — are disconnected from the frontline. Communication channels are severed at the local management level: workers have no idea who their boss’s bosses are and have little incentive to find out, while higher-ups have no way to reach their most critical employees. At the same time, frontline managers have no way to gauge their employees’ performance, and employees are neither held accountable for mistakes nor recognized for victories.
Employees Empowered
MomentSnap bridges these service chasms by connecting the frontline — to managers, higher-ups, and to their own performance. With MomentSnap, the portal to a more productive workspace is directly in employees’ palms: a single hub allows workers to view specific customer feedback, communicate with the management chain and see how they stack up to their peers, earning points and achievements for exemplary work.
