Skulpt was founded in 2009 by CEO, Dr. Jose Bohorquez, Electrical Engineering graduate from MIT, and Dr. Seward Rutkove, Neurology Professor of Harvard Medical School. The company develops hardware and software to help athletes understand their body composition and give them intelligence to help them optimize their training for optimum performance.
The heart of technology is the patented Composition Myography (CM), which measures the muscle quality and fat content of each major muscle group, giving an unprecedented level of insight into an athlete's body.
