Incorporated in 2012, Taraashna acts as a business correspondent for banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) and provides similar services to other financial institutions in rural and semi-urban areas. In 2016, Satin acquired Taraashna as its subsidiary. As on March 31, 2019, Taraashna has 180 branches across major cities in India and had provided services in respect of gross loans aggregating to USD 84.7 million.
