Techloop was started in 2015 by Joao, Paul and Andrew, 3 partners that set up and ran a recruitment agency. It was successful, but very traditional. The recruitment world was moving through a new wave of digitalisation, starting with simple online job boards, LinkedIn’s digitalisation of CVs to exploring the model of a marketplace as a new direct channel in hiring.
Techloop started with the ambition of removing the middlemen and providing a direct access point between the company and a candidate. With years of experience we learned even more about the pains of hiring, especially in IT and set out to become state of the art in 2 areas: Sourcing and Building Brand Awareness in IT.
